You can invest in your own holiday home as an alternative to saving or to supplement your investment portfolio. You can then use your property yourself and let us rent it out to tourists. Our holiday accommodation is always at top tourist locations, with extensive facilities in an area with much to offer. All our resorts appeal to different - generally broad - target groups. This ensures a high occupancy rate, which for you, as the owner, results in an attractive return through monthly rental income. What am I buying?

At Dormio Investments you will buy a holiday home including inventory. All our holiday homes are of a high construction quality and blend in with the natural surroundings of our project locations. If you buy a holiday home from us, you will become the owner of the holiday home as well as the plot, so you will not pay any ground lease (this does not apply to an apartment). We also have a long-term maintenance plan, which means the quality of the resort, the facilities and your holiday home are preserved.

Our website will give you an overview of the broad selection on offer. Have you found your potential holiday home? We will be happy to send you the full sales information, including a price list and returns forecast, enabling you to make a well-informed choice. We also offer the option to view your investment property on site or on our scale model during a Dormio Info Day at the project location. You will get to know the resort, the facilities, the food on offer and the surroundings at the same time, and you will be able to put all your questions to our sales adviser.

When you decide to invest in a holiday home from Dormio Investments, we will give you advice on the purchasing process from start to finish. Together with you, we will look at any financing options. For this purpose, we have been working with several reliable partners for many years. Once financing has been arranged and the contracts are drawn up, the transfer of title takes place at a civil-law notary’s office (provided that the holiday home has been completed).

The holiday home is now officially yours! From now on you can use your property whenever you want, and as the owner you will get an attractive return from letting the property. The letting, management and maintenance of your holiday home are entirely the responsibility of our own professional rental organisation, Dormio Resorts & Hotels. You won’t need to do anything other than enjoy your inflation-proof investment with full peace of mind!

As the owner of a Dormio holiday home you can, of course, make extensive use of your property. To book your holiday home, you can make a regular booking, which gives you many options to stay in your property with your family or friends. You can simply book your holiday home by telephone or via the online Owners’ Portal. Here you can also view the real-time occupation of your holiday home at all times. You can also make use of our attractive last-minute arrangement. If you book within 7 days before your arrival, you will not lose any rental income.

As the holiday homeowner, you will receive a full statement of the rent realised in the previous month, and the rental income will be transferred automatically. The rent will be calculated on the basis of a so-called pool system. All similar holiday homes are classified under one letting pool, in which the tourists are evenly distributed among the holiday homes in a specific pool. By using this system, it therefore does not make any difference to your rental income whether or not your holiday home has been let.

The return differs depending on the situation and resort. Together with you we will look at your situation and will give you information about the returns forecast. In many cases, investors decide to finance their own holiday home; contributing your own financial resources is often a prerequisite. Each situation is unique in this respect. To help you as much as possible with the purchase of your holiday home and any relevant financing options, we collaborate with a number of reliable, independent partners.
